Wood Floors Saved

Wood floors can be saved even when they are wet. Speed is key when it comes to wood floors.

Saving Wood Floors from Water

The water had come from a broken supply line which flooded the hallway. The homeowners called SERVPRO of Downtown Oklahoma City, Midtown right away and had us extract the water.

Once the bulk of the water was gone we were added the air movers to the hallway to speed up the evaporation. Wood has a lot of pores and can soak up water. We use air movement and heat to help the wood dispel the bound water in its pours.
